Industrial and Comfort HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) Systems
Industrial and comfort HVAC systems: survey, design, installation, commissioning and periodic-inspection-ready turnkey build for heating and air conditioning.
Industrial and comfort HVAC systems are the contracting service of systems that deliver temperature, humidity, fresh air and air cleaning in living and working spaces, and the climate conditions required by the process in production areas. On the office, hotel, hospital and mall side the priorities are comfort conditions and energy efficiency; on the factory, warehouse, server room and laboratory side they are process stability, filtration and hygiene. The service covers load calculation and system selection, equipment procurement, duct-pipe production, installation, automation integration, commissioning and preparation for periodic inspection, end to end.
System Families
- Comfort side: Split-VRF-package units, chiller + fan coil/AHU water systems, heat pumps with free cooling; energy recovery wheels-plates in fresh air handling units.
- Industrial side: Process cooling (chillers, plate exchangers, cooling towers), large volume air distribution, washing-clean room (ISO 14644 class) and precision air handling units.
- Ventilation: Exhaust-fresh air balance, grille-velocity control, pressure management of odour-smoke spaces (negative room) and kitchen-technical volume ventilation; detailed audit sits in ventilation installation inspection.
- Heating: Hot water-steam handled plants, underfloor-duct heating, infrared panels and the boiler room interface (linked to boiler/hot water boiler periodic control).
Design Rules
A right HVAC project meets the load without exaggerating it: area based cooling-heating loads (TS 825 insulation basis, internal gains, air change), simultaneity ratios and part-load efficiency (IPLV) are selection criteria. Duct design is balanced with equal static pressure and velocity limits (noise), and the water system is brought to balance with pressure independent control valves — an unbalanced system amplifies complaints, not energy. Outdoor unit positions consider air circulation-condensation drainage and aesthetic screen details; indoor units keep service access and drain pan slope.
Installation and Commissioning
Refrigerant lines run in the order of pipe cleaning-brazing-nitrogen pressure tightness-vacuum-charge, with oil traps and liquid locks placed per manufacturer rules. On the water side the vapour barrier integrity of insulation is critical: a missing vapour seal traps condensation inside the lagging and rots it. Commissioning records airflow measurement per grille, temperature-humidity setpoint verification, VAV-fan curve tests, filter class checks and automation logic trials (fault-alarm-protection chain). Under load, a thermal camera (thermal control) maps panel-cable-duct temperatures.
Periodic Maintenance and Legal Basis
In operation the maintenance calendar covers filter intervals, coil cleaning, water chemistry control (corrosion-biological), chiller-compressor oil analysis, belt-wheel checks and condenser cleaning. For indoor air quality, AHU periodic cleaning and conformity to indoor air standards (ASHRAE 62.1 approach) are tracked. Works run under Law No. 6331, the Occupational Safety Regulation for Workplace Buildings (thermal comfort limits) and efficient energy use legislation. FAQ on Industrial and Comfort HVAC Systems
Split-VRF-package units and chiller+fan coil/AHU water systems with heat pump-free cooling on the comfort side; process cooling groups, cooling towers, washing-clean room (ISO 14644) and precision units on the process side. Load calculation (TS 825 basis, internal gains, simultaneity), part-load efficiency (IPLV), air change rates and heat recovery in fresh air are the decision criteria. Traceability with ventilation inspection is planned together.
Refrigerant lines run in the order pipe cleaning-brazing-nitrogen tightness-vacuum-charge, with oil traps-liquid locks per manufacturer rules. On the water side the vapour barrier integrity of insulation is critical: a missing seal traps condensation inside the lagging and rots it. Commissioning records per-grille airflow, temperature-humidity setpoint verification, VAV-fan curve tests and automation logic trials; a thermal scan runs under load.
Filter class-replacement interval, coil cleaning, drain pan hygiene (Legionella risk), humidity control and CO2 based fresh air management are the four legs of indoor air quality. Duct internal dirt is followed by camera; on food-hospital lines clean room classification and pressure cascades are preserved. The air side measurements (flow-velocity-SPL-STI) repeat within the annual periodic inspection scope.
Fresh air units with heat recovery, free cooling, VFD driven fans-pumps, hydraulic balance with pressure independent valves, optimal setpoint-start-stop calendar and automation energy KPIs (kWh per m2). The surface temperature thermal inventory makes insulation losses visible. Maintenance discipline keeps operating energy permanently low in the loop of clogged filter-dirty coil-compressor oil analysis.
