Our Services

Periodic inspection, testing and contracting services. Expert solutions for pressure vessels, lifting machines, installations and electrical systems.

KYF Test services are organised under three main headings that safeguard the safe operation of work equipment in workplaces: periodic inspection, testing and analysis, and contracting and project services. All work is carried out and reported by a certified expert team in the relevant engineering disciplines, in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment.

Our Service Groups

Our service portfolio is structured into three main clusters according to the risk group of the equipment on site:

  • Our Periodic Inspection Services — Statutory periodic inspections of pressure vessels, lifting and handling machines, installations, machines and machine tools, industrial door and rack systems, and construction machinery.
  • Tests and Analyses — Tests and analyses of transformers and transformer circuit breakers, PL analysis and LVD tests, rack static calculation analysis.
  • Contracting and Project Services — High current, low current, medium voltage and mechanical installation contracting and project works.

Why Is Periodic Inspection Mandatory?

Regular inspection of work equipment is not only a technical precaution but also a legal obligation. In inspections by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, administrative fines are applied to equipment without an up-to-date inspection report; in an accident involving uninspected equipment, the employer bears all legal and criminal liability across the chain of negligence. Regular inspections also:

  • Reduce production downtime and financial losses caused by unexpected breakdowns,
  • Keep the safe operation of equipment traceable throughout its design life,
  • Provide documentation support for insurance and conformity processes (CE, PED, ISO 9001/45001).

Our Working Method

Our inspection and testing processes advance step by step: preliminary site survey and equipment inventory, risk assessment and establishment of the inspection plan, on-site measurement and examination in accordance with standards, engineering evaluation of findings, and finally delivery of legally valid signed inspection reports. For equipment assessed as critical, urgent intervention recommendations are shared the same day. The operating calendar and production plan of the facility are taken into account throughout the process; inspections are placed within planned shutdown windows.

KYF Test provides on-site service to factories, warehouses, logistics centres, hotels, hospitals and production facilities in Istanbul and neighbouring provinces. For a customised inspection programme and a quick quotation for your equipment group, please contact us via our contact page.

Corporate Assurance and Tracking System

Each inspection and testing process begins with drawing up an equipment inventory, and the results are entered into a tracking schedule specific to the facility. This way, advance notification is given for periodic inspections approaching their due date and legal obligations are not missed. Reports are archived together with field measurement records, photo documentation and calibration certificates of the measurement devices used, ready to be presented during audits.

Our team consists of authorised experts in mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering disciplines, and we conduct our work in alignment with the ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management systems. Thanks to our single point of contact approach, inventory, planning, inspection and reporting processes are centralised across your multi-location portfolio of factories, warehouses and branches. You receive the same standard of service at every location and monitor all your records from a single centre.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Services

Answers about our periodic inspection, testing-analysis and contracting services.

KYF Test serves under three main headings: periodic inspection services (pressure vessels, lifting and handling machines, installations, machines and tools, door-rack systems, work machines), tests and analyses (transformers and transformer breakers, electrical tests, LVD, oil analyses) and contracting and project services (strong current, low current, medium voltage, mechanical installation and camera systems). All works run with engineering competence, calibrated measurement gear and reporting discipline.

It covers pressure vessels (steam and hot-oil boilers, heating boilers, autoclaves, air tanks, hydrophore-expansion tanks), lifting and handling machines (cranes, chain hoists, forklifts, pallet trucks, stackers, manlifts and vehicle lifts), electrical and mechanical installations, machines and tools, industrial doors and storage racks, and work machinery. The common criterion is falling within the definitions of Law No. 6331 and the Work Equipment Regulation.

Unless a different period is stated in legislation or the applicable standard, the interval under the Work Equipment Regulation cannot exceed one year. Some equipment has shorter special periods: for example six-monthly checks for slings, lifting accessories and magnetic lifters as good practice. The narrowest of regulation, standard and manufacturer manual prevails; tests at 1.5 times pressure on pressure vessels tie into this calendar.

At the end of inspection a report-examination document is prepared and signed with equipment-based findings, measurement and test values, conformity status and — where needed — corrective suggestions. For equipment found unsafe, the operation is warned in writing and taking the equipment out of service is recommended where necessary. The report is part of the occupational safety file, forms the reference baseline for the next inspection and is presented in audits.
